At Bürgerhaus am Schlaatz, we don’t see “citizens” (Bürger:innen in German) only as people with formal rights linked to official citizenship. For us, being a citizen means having the right to participate, be involved, and actively shape the community. This includes everyone—regardless of origin, social or legal status—who wants to contribute to life at Schlaatz and within our house.
